Old Thrills

"What am I going to wear?"

I stood in my closet, clueless, for a few seconds. I knew had to be creative today, because, honestly, I was uninspired by what I saw on my hangers. Since the meeting spot was located inbetween two parks, I figured flats would be appropriate and I just built my look from there.

I went with my favorite ... a white top! This cutie top pictured here is from H&M (see, I told you I shop more places than just Express!) I love the modest Vneck because it's a narrow cut and won't open up if you have to bend down for some reason. You can be cute without exposing everything!

Next, I decided to go with some black distressed jeans for this outfit just to throw a wild card in there! I always consider black jeans to be rebel-ish. I don't know why! But they always look so cool to me! The distress just kicks up the "Rebel without a Cause" vibe. I love it! I got these from Express! You know I did! Again, for my shape and frame and height, Express is the best when it comes to denim. They never let me down!

Finally, once I looked in the mirror, I was like, "meh"; It's cute, but predictable. I needed something more. The necklace, from Anthropologie, added some flair, but it wasn't enough. So, I decided to pull out an old thrill from the past! This Free People Kimono is no longer available, but here is a link to a spot that sells some pretty cute ones!

Don't be afraid to re-try some old thrills in your closets! Old can always be worn in new ways!

You're creative - more than you realize. You're making impacts, more than you know. Be who God is creating you to be and don't be afraid to create with what He's given you!
